1235 is a registered wrought aluminum alloy explicitly listed in ASTM B479 for annealed foil when the ordered product falls within that standard's scope. Alloy identity does not define the finished package or laminate: the RFQ must specify temper, thickness, width, surface side, pinhole and wettability limits, cleanliness, winding, splices, inspection, packing and any end-use compliance or converter validation.

The natural oxide film supports ordinary atmospheric stability, but acidic, alkaline, salty or dissimilar-metal contact needs complete system review.
Lacquer, adhesive, printing ink and sealing-layer compatibility can determine the converted product's service life.
Temperature, concentration, deposits, crevices, stress, surface finish, cleaning, and fabrication quality can change service performance.

Double rolling can create bright and matte sides; state side orientation where appearance, coating or lamination requires it.
Slitting, printing, lacquering, laminating and embossing each need their own acceptance criteria and traceability.
