8021 is a registered wrought aluminum alloy used in high-barrier foil applications, often in soft tempers for forming and pharmaceutical laminate systems. It is not explicitly named in ASTM B479's listed alloy examples, so procurement should use the registered chemistry together with the applicable EN 546, ISO 7271, national or customer foil specification and end-use compliance requirements.
