Specifications and dimensions

  • Gauge and width with applicable alloy, temper and thickness tolerance
  • Coil inside diameter, outside diameter, mass, winding direction and telescoping limit
  • Mill or trimmed edge, camber, flatness, surface appearance, film and interleaving

Standards and supply condition

  • ASTM B209/B209M covers applicable coiled aluminum sheet products
  • EN 485 series and ANSI H35 dimensional frameworks where specified

Manufacturing and processing

  • Hot band is cold rolled through controlled reductions and annealed or aged to the ordered temper.
  • Slitting, trimming, tension leveling, cleaning, coating, film and controlled winding are separate options.

Quality and acceptance controls

  • Verify the registered alloy and complete temper designation against the certificate and ordered product standard.
  • Check dimensions, applicable tolerance table, flatness or straightness, surface class, edge and permitted defects.
  • Control film, interleaving, dryness, contact materials, handling and export packing to prevent staining and damage.

  • Coil geometry and maximum mass are handling constraints and must be confirmed with the receiving equipment.
