Manufacturing and processing

- Pickling, oiling, shot blasting, primer, profiling, drilling and beveling are separate processing requirements.

Selection limits
- Commercial sheet, structural sheet and pressure-vessel plate have different acceptance requirements.
- A nominal thickness does not replace the applicable tolerance class and measured-thickness acceptance.
