PE PPGI Color-Coated Steel Plate

Procurement guide for PE-painted galvanized steel supplied as color-coated flat plate, covering substrate, metallic coating, paint system, thickness, width, length, flatness, surface, inspection and protective packing.

Specifications and dimensions

State finished coated thickness, width, length, flatness, diagonal, edge condition and the ordered tolerance basis.
Specify the galvanized substrate and metallic coating separately from the PE paint system, dry-film build, color, gloss and protective film.
Define stacking orientation, interleaving, maximum bundle mass, lifting method and moisture-protected export packing.

Manufacturing and processing

Galvanized coil is pretreated and coil coated before leveling and cut-to-length processing into flat plate.
Shearing, film application, interleaving, stacking and packing are controlled finishing operations specified in the order.

Typical applications

Architectural panels, cladding and fabricated flat components after the approved assembly design confirms the material.
Industrial equipment covers, partitions and general prepainted steel fabrication.
Cut-to-length feedstock for downstream bending or profiling when paint-system and forming compatibility are confirmed.

Quality and acceptance controls

Verify substrate, metallic coating designation, PE paint system, dry-film thickness, color/gloss and lot traceability.
Measure thickness, width, length, flatness, diagonal, edge condition and surface against the ordered acceptance basis.
Inspect scratches, dents, coating cracks, cut edges, protective film, bundle identification and dry packing.

Selection limits

PPGI and PE paint description alone do not establish outdoor durability, color retention, formability, fire performance or assembly compliance.
Final acceptance follows the ordered substrate, coating, paint, dimensions, surface and approved sample; do not substitute based on color alone.
