Steel Terminal Canopy

Terminal canopy systems use long-span or repetitive fabricated members and require wind, snow, drainage, fatigue, public safety, architectural finish, transport segmentation and erection interfaces to be resolved together.

Specifications and dimensions

Approved member geometry, fabrication tolerances, hole classes, camber and component identification
Shop assemblies or transport segments matched to shipping, lifting and erection constraints
Surface preparation, coating system, dry-film thickness, fire protection and repair procedure

Standards and supply condition

Project structural design and execution standards with approved drawings govern the finished system
ISO 3834 quality requirements or the specified equivalent govern fusion-welding quality management

Manufacturing and processing

Purchased plate and sections are identified, cut, drilled, formed and assembled under controlled drawings and material traceability.
Qualified welding, dimensional inspection, NDE, surface preparation, coating, marking and sequenced packing complete fabrication.

Quality and acceptance controls

Control approved drawings, revision status, material traceability and component identification through fabrication.
Review WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, weld inspection, NDE acceptance and dimensional inspection records.
Inspect bolt holes, trial assembly where required, coating preparation and thickness, packing marks and erection sequence.

Approved geometry, grid, elevations, loads and interface drawings
Material grades, product standards, connection and bolt requirements
Fabrication standard, welding quality level, NDE and inspection plan
Corrosion category, surface preparation, coating and fire protection
Supply boundary, erection responsibility, packing sequence, destination and schedule

Selection limits

Supply content does not include licensed structural design for the buyer's jurisdiction unless expressly contracted through qualified parties.
Final member sizes, connections, fire protection and erection stability must follow approved project engineering, not catalogue examples.
