Overview

ASTM B443-26 covers rolled UNS N06625 and UNS N06219 nickel-alloy plate, sheet and strip. N06625 includes distinct heat-treatment grades for different service-temperature intent. Buyers must specify alloy, grade/condition, product form, dimensions, surface, tests, B906 general requirements and equipment-code acceptance.

Designation and acceptance

B443 is not a universal nickel-alloy flat-product standard. For N06625, Grade 1 is annealed and normally associated with lower service temperatures, while Grade 2 is solution annealed for service where creep and rupture resistance are required; N06219 is solution annealed. Hot working or reannealing can change properties, so delivered condition and subsequent fabrication heat exposure must remain controlled.
