Zinc alloys include pressure-die-casting, foundry, wrought and rolled products whose creep, aging, dimensional stability and corrosion behavior differ fundamentally from zinc coatings on steel.

Classification basis

Manufacturing route, aluminum level, dimensional/creep duty and finished product form

The directory separates Zamak, higher-aluminum ZA, wrought zinc and sheet/strip procurement while excluding galvanized steel from the base-alloy taxonomy.

A familiar grade name never replaces the governing product specification and certified documentation.
