State edge, camber, flatness, surface quality, spangle, skin pass, passivation, oiling and protective film.

JIS G 3302:2022 SGCC hot-dip zinc-coated sheet and strip

Manufacturing and processing

Steel strip is cleaned, annealed and continuously hot-dip zinc coated before controlled wiping, cooling and finishing.
Skin passing, tension leveling, passivation, oiling, slitting and recoiling are selected for forming and storage requirements.

Prepainted or laminated products after downstream qualification

Quality and acceptance controls

Match substrate designation, coating symbol/mass, coil identity, dimensions and ordered standard to the certificate.
Verify coating mass, adhesion, surface, thickness, width, flatness, camber and forming compatibility.
Confirm passivation or chromate-free treatment, oil, paint/adhesive compatibility, marking and moisture-protected packing.

DX51D+Z, SGCC and ASTM A653 commercial-steel designations use different standards and are not automatic equivalents.
Coating mass, atmosphere, cut edges, forming damage and maintenance control corrosion life; the grade name alone does not.
